Scandi Noir in Thames Ditton

We designed this Scandi Noir en-suite bathroom for our clients’ very modern house in Thames Ditton. Our clients wanted a warm and sleek feel, yet something a bit different from the norm and with a nod to the Scandinavian look. As a base we used light woods bringing in a Scandi accent. We teamed this with mono hex Noir mosaics by Ca’ Pietra. Adding an inviting yet striking look, whilst adding a sleek element with a crisp white vanity unit and a walk in shower, which offers a sense of airiness and space.

The layout of the existing bathroom worked well. So it was a case of elevating the design while creating more storage for our couple. Creating zones, with the mono hex noir tiles adds interest to a simple design and makes the room feel bigger. Adding a double basin and wide mirror cabinet gave our couple their own space and plenty of storage – keeping the worktops clutter free.

The Scandi Noir feel runs throughout the space, with recessed shelves within the shower area and above the WC. Offering practical storage and a chance to add plants or to personalise the space. The wood effect tiles create a warmth to the bathroom design. Black finish on the taps and shower head marries the look together.
