Copper & Blue Master ensuite in Esher
We bring you Copper and Blue – creating a dramatic look with oxidised look tiles contrasting with Lume blue metro tiles, both by Minoli. Our client’s brief was for a ‘luxurious master en suite, but something a bit different’.Â
The existing bathroom was bulky, with boxed in basin and bath (which were touching). We created a free flowing space, taking the basin unit off the floor and adding a curved bath. This opens up the room, by offering more floor space to be visible.
The shower cubicle was raised and very clumsy. Pipe work from the shower ran along the wall to the WC, again boxed in and unsightly. As with all our projects, we eliminated the need for visible pipe work by building a stud-wall to house the WC cistern and shower controls. Creating a seamless look with wow factor. The shower tray runs in line with the floor tiles, so no need to step into a closed in space.
The 3-tile combination creates zones while working in harmony to create a rich environment. The copper and blue tiles work on their own and when contrasted next to each other, tying the look together. Black brass-ware and towel radiator adds a striking element to the design.

We added recessed shelves in the shower area. Using Luminous blue gloss metro tiles within the recess, contrasting against Blaze Corten Lappato tiles.
We built out the wall behind the shower and WC to hide pipe work, creating a zoned area with beautiful oxidised effect tiles.
For a streamlined look, we used an undermount basin with a solid surface composite worktop.
