Chevron fusion in Claygate
We paired black and white chevron tiles from Mandarin Stone for this family bathroom in Claygate. The softness of the stone effect, creates a gentle contrast. The footprint of the bathroom worked well, but our client wanted an exciting and dramatic update, moving away from the subdued cream and brown of the existing design but without the look being too harsh.
To gain more storage, we used Luna, a double drawer basin unit in matt black from Dansani. As well as adding a recessed shelf for the shower area. To keep the look fuss free, the basin has with integrated handles, and the shower screen, folds back snuggly against the wall, while being wide enough to stop any spray falling to the floor while showering.
The adjustable LED light around the circular mirror (also from Dansani) helps adjust the mood of the room, along with clever lighting running the length of the bath and in the recess. The slight vein finish in the stone work on the windowsill and recess, works with both the white and black chevron tiles. Picking up accents of the colours within the finish look of the tiles.
The Ribbon towel radiator from Zehnder, adds an element of fun to the family bathroom, working well with the pattern of the chevron tiles. Brassware from Coalbrook in a stunning gunmetal finish, compliments the other black finishes in the design. Pulling the look together and giving it a luxurious feel.

Subtle lighting around the Dansani mirror, allows for mood lighting when using the bathroom and plenty of light when using the mirror.
Window sills get the star treatment with our bathrooms, marrying the look of the stone to compliment other aspects of the design, such as tiles and colour scheme.
The matt black finish on the Dansani double drawer unit, adds a luxurious look and the rubber finish is tactile and unusual. Elevating the design.
