After completing our clients’ family bathroom, they returned 6 months later wanting a black ensuite! They loved the look and feel of the black chevron tiles – so, their brief was to incorporate the same design but with subtle changes.

The layout of the existing ensuite worked, it was all about taking it up a level. Making it a grown up space with playful elements. Therefore we incorporated a ribbon heated towel rail from Zehnder to add a playfulness to room. While using Axor Citterio brassware in a brushed black chrome finish, elevating the design.

The chevron tiles on the floor grounds the room, while drawing the eye into the shower area where the tiles frame the offset recess. Adding an interesting yet practical feature. Pale tiles within the recess contrast with the black while flowing seamlessly to the returning wall, adding warmth to the design.

The black vanity unit with mat white sides, plays with the theme, while adding storage with the wide drawer. Under counter lighting on the units adds soft lighting alternatives while using the room.
