Marble Master Ensuite in Oxshott
From Travelodge to Marble opulence.
Our clients came to us with, in their words, a “Travelodge” style ensuite! They felt their existing bathroom had a builders finish which they were keen to get away from. They wanted a bespoke bathroom that oozes luxury and that was tailored to their needs.
The large room lacked a feeling of intimacy. Therefore, it was important to create zones within the space. We used large format marble tiles for the WC and basin areas. With black marble offset with a wood chevron mosaic on the floor, within the bathing and shower areas. Offering warmth to the design. The introduction of ambient lighting behind the bath and within the shower area, adds an extra dimension to the luxurious design.
The first impression when entering the room, felt very flat. This was more apparent on the basin wall, which had dark boxy style basins, and a long mirror cabinet stretching across the room.
To add interest and to create zones, we used wall to floor mirrors between the basins, interjected with marble chevron tiles, adding an illusion of space, while dedicating a personal zone for our couple with their own basin areas. Creating balance to the room.
The black crittall shower screen, black radiator along with the brushed black brassware, adds contrast to the design.

We used large format marble tiles against wood and black marble chevron tiles to create zones within the ensuite.
Brushed black chrome brassware by AXOR Citterio adds contrast to the light marble tiles and white basin.
Down lighting used within the recesses – to create ambient lighting. With a marble counter to finish the recesses, adding elegance to the finished design.
