Elegant Metro en-suite in Long Ditton

Our client came to us wanting an elegant update to their en-suite. However, they also wanted the look to compliment the period of their property – enter Metro subway tiles! To create a spacious and serene feel we built out a wall to house all the messy pipes and cistern. Using white metro tiles to show off the lines, we paired it with a soft toned down paint colour by Farrow & Ball.

We used chrome fittings to bounce light around this window-less room. Furthermore, by using wall-hung furniture, the brain is tricked into thinking there is more floor space. Thus giving the illusion of a larger room.
