Carrara cloakroom in Oxshott
Our client wanted a natural elegance for their cloakroom in Oxshott.
The layout worked well, it just needed updating with warmth and a luxurious feel. We used Cambric Carrara tiles from Porcelanosa to add soft shades found within the neutral stone. The pattern creates a beautifully natural element to the design.
Dramatic Midnight blue finish on the basin, adds a quiet theatre to the space. The large format tiles from Minoli compliment the smaller tiles, drawing the natural pattern throughout the room with subtle elegance. Bespoke quartz work tops have been added for the countertop, recessed shelves and windowsill – tying the natural soft elegance of the Carrara tiles throughout the cloakroom.
To keep with the organic and natural feel, we offset two hand blown pendant lights over the basin.
To complete the luxury feel of the cloakroom, we used AXOR accessories including a Citterio mixer tap and finished the walls in Farrow & Ball No.2005 All white – a Contemporary Neutral mix, creating a soft sympathetic colour, without the colder blue undertones of a brilliant white.
