Slender shower en-suite in Hampton
We created a slender shower en-suite for our clients’ master bedroom. We reconfigured an existing boxy bathroom that made the bedroom an awkward shape – where the only option for their bed was up against a window, blocking out light. By creating a slender shower room at the end of the bedroom, we provided extra space in the room with a wall for the bed to go against and a user friendly layout.
Our clients were after a statement bathroom with a luxury hotel feel, with the look of natural materials such as marble and gold. To create a striking and elegant look, we used white marble effect tiles throughout the main part of the room, contrasting with black tiles in the large shower area – all by Minoli. Brushed gold brassware from Matki picks up the gold fleck in the white tiles and contrasts against the black tiles, bringing warmth into the room.
Following on with the luxury hotel look, we used a wide basin by Dansani in black, tying in the black feature tile in the shower. The shower has a recessed shelf with downlighting to create low level lighting, allowing our clients to adjust the lighting to reflect their mood.

After taking down the wall between the bedroom & bathroom, to create a slimmer but longer en-suite. We put in a wide shower area with a recessed shelf and moved the WC in line with the basin to create a streamlined look.
Brushed gold brassware have been used to pick up the gold thread in the marble tiles. This softens the black & white look.
The slimline monolith WC cistern by Geberit is perfect for small spaces. The back lighting adds low level lighting.
