Master ensuite in Cobham
Our clients came to us with a new extension build in Cobham. They were adding a section to their home to include a Master ensuite. We worked from the architect’s plans, so that the bathroom design and installation could start as soon as the space was built.
We created zones that flowed together with use of mosaics that tied the different areas together. Along with the wood effect floor tiles running throughout the bathroom including the wetroom area. Due to the generous size of the new master ensuite extension, we designed separate shower and bath areas plus incorporated a double basin for the couple.
By adding lighting under the basin and within the three recessed shelves (over the basin and bath as well as in the shower area) our clients can opt for warmer lighting to unwind after a busy day. This is also useful to help dress the room and for items needed while preening! We also created rich texture by using large smooth tiles that contrast with the metallic ridged mosaics. While keeping a natural feel with wood effect tiles.
This master ensuite has plenty of storage too, With a triple door illuminated mirror cabinet and deep basin drawers. Without compromising on the spa quality of the ensuite design.
Category: En-suite
We added a recess to house the illuminated mirror cabinet. This creates a focus with the mosaics. While also having the unit submerged within the wall, so that it is less obvious.
By building out the wall next to the bath, we were able to create mood-lighting in the recess and have a practical shelf for bathing creams or scented candles. This creates a spa quality to the users bathing experience.
The wood effect tiles are used on the floor and up one wall. Adding a very natural feel to the space while adding different textures around the room to envelope the look together.
