Fluted wood kitchen in Weybridge
Our client wanted to bring warmth and unity to their open planned space. Creating a nucleus within the home for the family to get together.
As this space incorporated a lounge, dining and kitchen area, we wanted to create ample hidden storage while keeping the area fuss free. The floor to ceiling units offer just that with a crisp white finish in Farrow & Ball. This is complemented with the warmth of the fluted wooden units of the island and herringbone floor, as well as the gold vein running through the quartz counter top.
The design hides several surprises. Firstly, the hidden door into the utility room, this is cleverly disguised by the handmade white doors. What appears to be a seamless bank of units from the window to the sink area, actually reveals an entrance to another space! The second area of surprise, is the pantry. Flanked by two glass doors. One with a luxurious tall fully integrated wine refrigerator. The pantry offers fully accessible storage, with full view of all items to help make the kitchen experience a pleasure.
The coffee station is another clever way to keep the open space fuss free and tidy. As is the integrated Miele dishwasher, expertly hidden behind the fluted wooden façade. Chocolate bronze Edgbaston handles from Armac Martin completes the design.
