Blue Geometric Shower Room in Effingham
This Geometric guest Shower Room in Effingham, marries a bold and fun pattern with classic tones of blues and gold. As a creative couple, our clients wanted a timeless space that offered a quirky and exciting experience.
We used a geometric Bert & May tile, paired with natural stone to set the tone. This space allowed for a generously proportioned basin vanity unit (in bespoke Midnight Blue) from Dansani, tying in with the blue geometric tiles. The sleek washbowl from Duravit offers an organic yet crisp feel to the design. Adding to the softness, we used brushed gold fittings throughout with House of Piccadilly.
We redesigned the space, moving the basin from under the slope of the ceiling, to the opposite full height wall. Allowing for a sizeable brass framed mirror from Origins Living to sit above the basin. We repurposed the space under the sloping ceiling to allow for additional matching storage.
The previous shower cubicle was small and enclosed, so we opened this up to use the full width of the area, using a frameless screen. To make the area user friendly while incorporating the quirky design, we created a full width recess inlayed with the geometric tiles.
The WC has a built in cistern, keeping the space sleek and fuss free. A tall column radiator completes the bathroom with brushed gold towel rungs. While under counter and recessed lighting allows our homeowner to create an ambient effect.

The process
The quality of the craftsmanship and overall end product was excellent. Adam was really good at taking our ideas and translating them into the design - his approach and overall communication throughout the process was very good and we would not hesitate to recommend him.
We moved the basin from under a sloped ceiling, allowing the user full standing height and use of a mirror.
Using Geometric tiles within the recessed shower shelf, ties in with the floor throughout rest of the bathroom.
Taking care of every detail, we incorporated brushed gold valves to the column radiator.
